With nearly 30 years of woodworking experience and more than 22 years building and operating Truewoods Timber & Furniture, Holly Carmichael has built a reputation for craftsmanship, creativity, and helping clients bring exceptional spaces to life.
Known for her easy-going and approachable nature, Holly works closely with homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and business owners to guide projects from initial concept through to completion. Her ability to listen, ask the right questions, and identify opportunities others may overlook often helps clients discover possibilities they didn't know were available to them.
One of Holly's greatest passions is sourcing extraordinary materials. Whether it's a striking live-edge slab, a beautifully figured hardwood, or a unique piece of timber with exceptional character, she is constantly searching for materials that inspire exceptional work. She believes that great furniture and millwork begin long before construction starts—with thoughtful design, careful planning, and selecting materials that deserve to be showcased.
Throughout her career, Holly has remained committed to creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional. From custom furniture and architectural millwork to complex installation projects, her work is guided by the belief that experience isn't just about building furniture—it's about knowing which decisions matter before the work even begins.
